1956 AUSTIN HEALEY 100/4 BN2 FOR SALE

Registered as a "Club" car until 23/6/27

I am the third owner. Have owned the car since the late 1960s

• Arrived new in Australia September 1956, consigned to Larke Hoskins Motors, NSW
• Engine number 1B229627M Chassis 5593-11297. When I brought the to car to SA from Canberra and sought SA Roadworthy Cert because the engine number was shaved off the block when I had the head rebuilt and I could not find original docs, the guys insisted on a new engine number just for SA which is S98606P
• First registration was Canberra. All following registrations were Canberra until 1994 when I moved to Adelaide.
• It was my daily drive until mid-2018 when I transferred from full registration to "Club" registration. It is registered until 23/6/27
• Engine, gearbox and diff all rebuilt
• Overdrive is mechanically good and responds quickly
• Starter motor and generator very good
• 1 1/2 carburettors overhauled in recent years
• Spin off oil filter (original cartridge unit available)
• All panels fit nicely, especially doors
• All instruments matching and original
• Healey Factory headers lined with ceramic in Adelaide
• Front and rear shockers in good operating condition
• Hood is in fair condition. New side curtains
• Maserati air horns (to keep the B-doubles away)
• Rear splined hubs very good
• Chrome 60 spoke 4 1/2 Dayton Wire wheels purchased from The Healey Factory in Melbourne. Have original spoke wheels too
• A British Motor Industry Heritage Trust certificate
• It has recently been re-upholstered in black
• It has a brand new dark blue tonneau
• It has new carpets
• There are four excellent Pirelli tyres
• It has e set of extractors from the Healey Factory but I still have the original manifold and attachments
• The diff was removed and rebuilt by a previous Victorian Healey Club member owner who had the expertise
• It has an original hard-covered workshop manual as well as a standard blue one

All the mechanicals are original.
